Jack designed and built a pop-up botanical garden at Carousel in Marylebone, London to launch Slingsby Gin to London and the South East.
Slingsby Gin contains Harrogate water and 24 botanicals including Rhubarb, Rosemary, Thyme & Hyssop. Jack incorporated these botanicals into the design in large zinc planters, as table decorations and on a 'smell table', which was made out of wooden crates. The room was filled with trees and plants, including large Pine Trees and Acers, Muehlenbeckia, Euonymus Alatus, Viburnum rhytidophyllum, Leucothoe Scarletta and Cyclamen.
Planters were covered with hessian to give the room a softer feel. The focal point was the large zinc water feature by A Place in the Garden, which was a nod to the use of Harrogate water in the gin.
When guests walked into the room it was akin to entering a wooded glade fragranced with botanicals.
